The Lana Del Pod is a podcast from Joe McMahon and Samuel Priest about Lana Del Rey that’s not… really about Lana Del Rey. In the beginning we were using Lana Del Rey to make fun of other podcasts and tv shows and media that existed ONLY to comment on other pop culture. Sort of commenting on how there was so much commenting on media content that didn’t stand on it’s own outside the original source it was commenting on! It was really smart! But then, well, we started to actually like Lana Del Rey’s music.
And also we talk about our lives or our dads and whatever else is going on, and we usually play a Lana Del Rey song at the end of each episode and rank it on a scale of 1 to 5 Lana Del Reys… and since we like Lana Del Rey now, even a score of 1 Lana Del Reys is pretty good.
